EQUATOR - short synopsis

A Russian military base in the heart of Africa is feeling the effects of the end of the Cold War - besides being seemingly forgotten by the mother country.  When the local tribal chief asks the soldiers to kill a dangerous elephant, the Warrant Officer is confronted with a new problem - how to remove the rotting corpse from the village.  He sends two soldiers off on a mission to locate a tractor to remove the elephant. Privates Solntsev and Korovin head out on a dangerous trip with one rifle between them.
